As an avid outdoors man and hunter with an interest in art, I have been playing with the notion to begin doing taxidermy as a hobby. Does anyone have any tips or advice for someone relatively new to the field. Are there any licenses you have to have in SC and what are the best mounts/animals to begin with? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You will need a license if you do migratory birds other than that I would start with a squirrel or something small. As an avid outdoors man and hunter with an interest in art, I have been playing with the notion to begin doing taxidermy as a hobby.
